The Challenge
Hamilton Lane’s dedicated Operational Due Diligence team processes over a hundred requests for due diligence reports each year. They are responsible for providing risk intelligence on potential investment opportunities at the company level, including assessing the relevant individuals from the executive management under review.
Supporting more than 450 employees in 18 offices, the ODD team needed a system that could quickly provide background checks at scale without compromising accuracy. Meeting the organization’s fast pace also required a user-friendly system that could enable their multinational team to effortlessly access, track and share information.

The online platform streamlines every stage of the process, from ordering reports to sharing them with team members. Hamilton Lane can request new background checks with one click through the online user interface. Entering basic identifying information, the team can initiate a full report on any individual or company or request a repeat analysis on a previous report to confirm whether anything had changed since the last review.
